Job Description

Job Title: Learning Support AssistantWe are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join one of our local secondary schools in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in starting a career in education.Role Description:This role is primarily classroom-based; however, the school offers a diverse curriculum that includes sports, outdoor education, and various vocational courses for KS3 students.The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a calm and patient practitioner
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be confident working one-on-one and with small groups of students
Classroom experience is beneficial but not required. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the following areas:
  1. Personal experience with SEMH/SEN
  2. Youth/sports coaching
  3. Studies in Sports, Education, Health and Social Care, Childhood Studies, or related fields at degree or A-level
  4. Volunteer work with children and/or young people
