The starting salary for this position is £36,282per annum based on a 36 hour working week.Do you want to play a pivotal role in the lives of the children and young people of Surrey who are looked after in our residential childrens homesCan you use your expertise and creativity to enhance and improve traditional ways of working to ensure we achieve our ambition of ensuring every child in Surrey is seen and heard, feels safe and can growWe currently have aDeputy Managerroleavailable for an energetic and enthusiastic person, based in our childrens homes in Woking.About UsWe value our employees for the unique skills, backgrounds and perspectives they bring to the table, and we work continuously to help bring out the best in all our people, offering opportunities for development and flexibility, where possible.Each of our residential homes is a specialist in a specific area of need and we are therefore looking for people with a passion to help children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties who may also be at risk of exploitation, and/orchildren with disabilities.About the RoleAs a Deputy you will work alongside the Manager and other Deputy Managers and have responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of a registered childrens home and any linked services, ensuring the service provided is effective at promotingand safeguarding the welfare of children and young people and delivering positive outcomes for them.As a senior member of the team, you will supervise and support staff to deliver what is needed to meet children and young peoples needs, including managing complexity, risk or vulnerability. You therefore need to know the Ofsted inspection framework andchildrens home quality standards governing childrens homes and will be able to evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of our work in the setting in which you are employed.In return for your expertise, commitment and experience we will support your ongoing learning and development through a culture of high support and high challenge.
