Job Description

Mechanical InspectorsSalary: Up to £15 p/h Hours of work: 7;30am to 4:30pm Job Type: Permanent Location: Woking, Surrey Benefits include: Private healthcare, life assurance and free on-site parkingTasks for a Mechanical Inspector:

  • Mechanical Inspection of machined components to required quality standards
  • Follow Engineering drawings and spec sheets
  • Carry out Visual inspections
  • Carry out first principle inspections
  • Bench Inspection
  • CMM Inspection
Your Profile:
  • Several years Mechanical / Quality Inspection within a high precision business
  • Good working knowledge CMM machines (Ideally Aberlink)
  • Experience using Faro Arm and Contour Trace would be ideal
  • Good understanding of 1st , batch and final inspection
  • Solid understanding of GD&T
  • Strong use of all hand measuring tools and equipment
  • Educated to HND or HNC level in a related field
