Job Description

To help achieve this, the authority is making a capital investment in excess of £1.5bn overthe next 5 years.To enable us to start work on meeting this vision the Environment, Transport and Infrastructure Directorate (ETI) is creating a Programme Management Office (PMO) within the Infrastructure, Planning and Major Projects (IPMP) service. The PMO will support not only the capital major projects that are being initiated within IPMP but also the delivery of all the programmes and projects across the wider directorate including multi-million-pound highways, environmental and waste schemes.As the PMO Analyst you will need a proven track record of engaging with stakeholders in order to identify opportunities to drive key business outcomes. You will be an analytical thinker who is both diplomatic and pragmatic and be experienced in developing new approaches and methodologies to meet the business need, in a fast-paced environment.The role requires someone who is self-motivated, takes a pro-active approach, has strong analytical skills and can clearly communicate in a precise and confident manner to ensure that the pace of delivery can be simultaneously matched to the scale of the project.You will provide assurance on policies, standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques to align our programme delivery.
