This is a part-time administrative role assisting a company with extra workload following Brexit. Initially for a 4 week period, and then potentially could be extended/ongoing. The preferred hours of work are 9am to 1pm, however there is some flexibility there – eg. 10am to 2pm would be workable. The role will be based in the company’s head office (located near Woking, on-site parking available). Unfortunately there is no option for homeworking with this role as remote systems access is not available. You’ll need to be well organised and have excellent communication skills as you’ll be liaising with couriers to check the status of deliveries, confirming where there have delays and help to identify reasons for those delays. You’ll be accessing information from various systems and websites, noting shipping tracking numbers and following up by phone or email to get a clear picture of the status of the various deliveries, and then collating that information into a report on excel. This will enable other contacts in the business to know where to focus their attention, so they can ensure shipments reach their customers as soon as possible.
