Job Description

A successful subsidiary business of a large US-based organisation is looking for a Management Accountant due to an exciting plan of expansion through growth and acquisition. Along with a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, you will also receive an annualbonus, hybrid working (3 days in the office & 2 days from home), plus others!Joining their Head Office in Woking, this position will report to the Finance Director, and will have responsibility for the weekly/ monthly/ quarterly reporting for two of their European businesses.As Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare monthly Management Accounts
  • Ownership of the balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Bank Reconciliations weekly & monthly.
  • Cash Forecast.
  • VAT Returns – reconciliation, tax codes review and advise AP & AR if reposting is necessary, submission to Tax local authorities. Ensuring compliance with local rules and regulations. Intrastat to be reconciled with the VAT Returns, submission to Tax localauthorities.
  • EC Sales to be reconciled with the VAT Return, submission to Tax local authorities.
  • Payroll – reconciliation, payroll journals and Holiday Accruals based on the monthly information provided by the payroll.
  • Assisting in the Year end production of Financial Statements (Stats) which are needed to file the Annual Tax Returns, providing materials needed for accurate Company Tax Returns submission. Assisting auditors when required.
The successful Management Accountant will:
  • Be AAT Qualified on Part -Qualified Accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experienced communicator that can work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and IT skills to include good competency with Excel
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and finance principles while maintaining great attention to detail and accuracy.
