Making things happen, being brave, having fun and valuing everyone. Do your values match oursWe are currently looking for a vibrant manager to lead and inspire our team to help the people we support work towards achieving independence and reaching their goals. We value everyone and we want brave people to join us at one of the UK’s leading providers of support for people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.Combe House is in a quiet residential area in Woking, Surrey. There are 7 people that live here so this service is a hub of activity. The huge garden is used for a number of activities such as skittles, archery and football, and for those rainy British afternoon there are options to go out bowling, swimming, go to the cinema or the favourite - the Ambassador Theatre(especially at Christmas for the pantomimes!) For those fancying some down time there is a cabin here to watch tv or play either Nintendo or Xbox as well as a lovely conservatory mostly used for chilling out and listening to music. We are also lucky to have a resident here that is hugely talented at visual arts and has done fantastic work in raising money for charity and has even contributed to a mural painting in Guildford. As you can see with so much going on we need someone really special to come on board who is positive, empowering and above all passionate about what they do.We want you to take overall responsibility for all aspects of running the service, ensuring the staff team enable the people we support to lead a valued and fulfilling life and maximising their potential physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Developing new initiatives in care practices and ensuring the overall delivery of a quality service, will also be part of the role. Your duties will be varied, with no two days the same, but every day will be rewarding! As a manager we invest in you – this is not just your job it’s your career and it’s as important to us as it is you. With that in mind our in house Learning & Development team have developed a programme unique to Achieve together - our management development programme that supports you as a manager on your journey with us. We will provide you with all the tools you need to be the best that you can be and move your way up within the company with continuous support from day one. What can we offer you
