Job Description

2nd Line Support - Woking I’m working with a leading Fintech who specialise in Fraud management platforms, who are looking for a 2nd line support analyst to provide support for their managed services and to internal and external customers. You will be joining a highly successful Fintech who provide software and managed service solutions to combat against fraud. Their client lists include a number of household names.Your Responsibilities

  • Providing 2nd line technical support, via phone, email and tickets.
  • Monitoring the core managed service platform and application layer to identify incidents/problems and resolving proactively.
  • Provide high-quality customer service whilst working to set SLA’s.
  • Ensure uptime and resilience of core service platform.
  • Work with third-party hosting provider in regard to any incidents
  • Ensure that all IT incidents are recorded, resolved or escalated to the appropriate level
  • Provide out of hours Infrastructure and Application support for outage incidents
    • The Skills and Experience Youll Need
  • Strong working knowledge of supporting Microsoft technologies
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and SQL scripting is essential.
  • Windows server
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services - IIS
  • Perfmon - Data collection and analysis.
  • Windows system security patching.
  • Working knowledge and experience managing networks:
  • TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS, Routers/Firewalls, VLANs, VPN, Reverse Proxy.
  • Network monitoring
  • Experience in building systems and deploying applications:
  • Documentation and effective user handover.
  • Working knowledge in IT security:
  • Deploying and managing endpoint protection.
  • Monitoring and ensuring systems are up to date
  • Previous experience working within a hosting / managed service organization in a Support capacity.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Operational Monitoring System (OMS)
  • Linux system security patching.
  • Understanding of PCI-DSS standards.
  • CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate
  • ITIL® Foundation certificate
