Job Description

Our client is a highly customer focussed consumer lending business which owing to growth, are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join their Finance team. They have grown circa. 50 employees and £250m in lending but they maintain a real family’ feel andhave a clear strategy for growth and continued focus on customer outcomes.Main responsibilities of the Finance Analyst include:

  • Managing the Purchase Ledger; posting invoices, responding to queries, reconciling supplier accounts and processing supplier payments.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation of the daily Cash Flow forecast.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly Management Information.
  • Report production for HMRC, FCA, auditors, banks, and other stakeholders etc.
  • Assist and support with internal and external audits in relation to the firm’s financial activities.
  • Supporting the Head of Finance with ad-hoc projects.
Essential Skills and Qualifications for the Finance Analyst:
  • AAT qualified, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role preferable but not essential
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of common office systems, particularly the use of Advanced Excel.
