Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for x2 Production Operators to join our client a well established manufacturing facility based in Witham on a ongoing contract.Hours : 7am - 3.30pm - Monday to FridaySalary: £12.54 ph + BonusExcellent opportunity to join part of the largest steel recycling business in the UK offering a range of career opportunities.

As one of the largest steel reinforcement suppliers in the UK, we are strategically placed in sites around the UK in Scotland, Ireland, Midlands, Wales and East London.Your will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Operate all relevant bending machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake production tasks safely and accordance with instructions
  • Complete production activities in order of priority
  • Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications
  • Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard or re-manufacture faulty products
  • Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analysed
  • Using measuring tapes
  • Operate Overhead crane (Training provided)
About you:
  • A good awareness of Health and Safety
  • Ability to follow strict processes and procedures
  • Eager to learn
  • Previous production experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
