Job Description

Attwood Perks is delighted to be partnering with an ambitious and forward-thinking business in Witham who are looking for an IT Application Support Analyst to join their established team on a permanent basis.As IT Application Support Analyst in this friendly business your role will be to provide 1st line support to the organisations customers for a range of software products across the business.Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1st line support by email and phone, triaging tickets in line with SLA targets
  • Using initiative to process/prioritise/escalate faults according to issue type and in line with SLAs
  • Ensure telephones are answered in a professional manner and callers are dealt with as appropriate
  • Monitoring support mailboxes and actioning any incoming mail
  • Liaising with external suppliers where required
    • Ideally you will have:
  • Ticket system experience
  • Experience of supporting applications on Windows
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Email Protocols e.g. SMTP
  • Understanding of Cloud Technology’s e.g. Azure, O365
  • Awareness of backup technologies
  • Virtualisation - Hyper-V and VMWare
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn
    • Nice to have:
  • Exchange, MS SQL Experience
  • Experience on Linux
  • Experience with Veeam and Ahsay Backup Products
  • Exposure to Storage Technologies
