NHS LanarkshireLocum Consultant Neonatologist – 1 postThe Neonatal service in Lanarkshire is a level III NICU facility within the West of Scotland Managed Clinical Network. Our Neonatal Unit currently provides full medical intensive care to term and preterm infants of all gestations. We offer all modes of ventilation, nitric oxide and Total Body Cooling. We are looking for a Locum Neonatal Paediatrician to join our supportive and collegial team. In addition to leading and delivering high quality neonatal care, youll be a team player, accept responsibility, actively seek to pursue areas of interest and are able to effect change through a collaborative approach.The new appointees will join a team of 7.5 wte consultant Neonatologists, supported by a neonatal pharmacist, a dietician, a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist and advanced neonatal nurse practitioners and trainees from west of Scotland deanery in first and second tiers.Full-time with up to 10 PAs available (Part-time may be considered).The post-holder will be expected to contribute to out of hours on call working and provide weekday evening resident cover in line with BAPM standards.
