An opportunity has arisen within NHS Lanarkshire’s Orthopaedic Service for a Clinical Fellow at University Hospital Wishaw from August 2020 for a period of one year.This post will offer excellent experience in Orthopaedics and the successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the orthopaedic junior rota (full shift).The orthopaedic services within NHS Lanarkshire have first class facilities, with a pneumatic tube system to transfer patient samples, and all hospitals have a computerised results service within NHS Lanarkshire to provide a comprehensive service to the local community and beyond.NHS Lanarkshire is constantly reviewing its rotas to maintain New Deal compliance together with the new arrangements as set down by the Scottish Government and Scottish Medical Training (SMT). Rotas therefore, may be subject to change.NHS Lanarkshire has excellent post-graduate libraries and IT facilities.
