Job Description

We are dedicated to continually driving ourselves and our business forward. We will not stop because we aim to be the best!We are currently looking for a warehouse operative to be based at our workshop in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire,to be responsible for the control of goods into the workshop and un-loading of deliveries via forklift. This includes raw timber, sheet material and various component parts for kitchen manufacturing. To have a good understanding of our delivery processand help with the loading of delivery vans. To offer general support to the workshop operation.Experience is essential. To apply you must have:

  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • Counterbalance forklift licence.
  • Good numeracy & literacy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. To provide holiday cover and support to our distribution hub operation including, delivery and booking in of appliances, helping with loading of delivery vans, signing off orders and checking in of goods from the workshop.
  2. To receive goods in and to quality & quantity check them. Using counterbalance, sack barrows and manual lifts.
  3. To match up delivery notes and purchase orders when items are delivered.
  1. To efficiently store all goods correctly within the warehouse to aid in storage utilisation.
  1. To support the workshop operation with the kitting of kitchen component parts as per customer order.
  1. To ensure all work is always to a high standard.
  1. Develop a culture that exceeds customer expectations.
  1. To provide holiday / sickness cover for other warehouse and workshop staff.
  1. A team player but also you must be able to work on your own initiative.

Further details/benefits:
  • 40 hrs per week. MonThu 7.00 16.00, Fri 7.0013.00.
  • Any hours worked over the standard 40hrs is paid at time and a half.
  • Permanent contract.
