Job Description

The role as a Supply Chain Team Leader / Trainer requires someone who is able to work on their own as well as part of a team. This role will be split 50/50 when it comes to training new members of staff with Manual Handling Equipment as well as responsible for the management of the low risk Freezer when not training. Duties of the role include:

  • Training members of staff on Manual Handling Equipment
  • Responsible for the documentation and reports on colleagues training and submitting them to HR
  • Adhering and promoting health & safety guidelines with Manual Handling Equipment
  • Ensuring a tidy and clean working environment
  • Stock taking and managing storage
  • Responsible for the low risk Freezer, supervising a small team
  • Updating Excel spreadsheets - good IT skills
  • Working Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 (must be willingto work overtime to complete training with colleagues on site)

  • Able to convey training instructions in very good English
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain practices
  • Needs to be able to work on their own andas part of a team
  • Needs to be able to undergo training on manual handling equipment.
  • Any Forklift licenses such as Counterbalance, Reach & Stacker truck would be advantageous
  • Good PC skills are required to update Excel Spread sheets
