Job Description

Challenge-trg Recruitment is looking for a passionate Shift Supervisor to join our clients site in Wisbech, PE13 2RN. Join a sustainable and innovative company that produces and distributes some of the most well-known food brands in the UK and US.Pay rates and shifts as a Shift Supervisor:

  • Standard pay: £11.90p/h to £12.90p/h
  • Shifts: Flexibility needed ( nights and days ) 4.30pm-4.30am 4 nights shift
Responsibilities as a Shift Supervisor:
  • Support and manage effective recruitment where required. Help with registration and ensure that all aspects of registration are completed.
  • Ensure that the induction and onboarding process is completed to the highest standards so that the candidate has an outstanding experience.
  • Through effective team management, ensure that contract demand for labour is booked and delivered in line with our KPIs.
  • To supervise employees: to hire, transfer, assign, or discipline them.
  • Inspire excellence, and ensure that the candidate has an acceptable level of conduct, attendance and performance.
  • Seek to provide positive feedback wherever appropriate, understand any development needs and provide training solutions while monitoring the progress.
  • Be approachable and visible to colleagues. Manage any complaint/inquiry to ensure such is adequately resolved in a timely manner.
  • Build relationships with our clients helping to build the reputation for the brand and company image.
  • Ensure that all activities meet with company and client policy, procedure and relevant legislation.
  • Accurately update all systems, trackers, and logs in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure completion of PDR every 6 months.
  • Be familiar with and engage with company communications.
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary to excel within the role

  • Communication skills: Ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft and Google platforms.
  • Time management: ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritise accordingly.
  • Problem Solving: demonstrate innovation and excellent problem solving
  • Customer Service: ability to deliver best in class customer service at all stakeholders
