Job Description

Domus are proud to be working with a fantastic national provider who have an excellent reputation nationwide.They are looking to recruit for a dedicated Service Leader to oversee the running of one of their Supported Living services in Wisbech for adults with a range of learning disabilities, mental health and other associated needs. They are very active in enjoyattending day centres, going to bingo, the gym, college, work, shopping, discos, bowling and many other activities. In house activities include make up and beauty, baking, looking at books, completing puzzles, watching DVDs, colouring, watching football andlots of arts and crafts.They are paying up to £28,000 per annum dependent on experience for a NON-REGISTERED managers position. In addition to this the company will pay for any training and will support you through it!Service Leader Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of running the service including supervision of staff, rotas, care planning, quality assurance, training, budget management, finances and management of medication.
  • Safeguarding, DOLS, MHCA and other regulatory knowledge
  • Ensuring adherence to all CQC fundamental standards.
  • Communicating effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Training, developing and motivating staff through example and attention to good working practice.
Service Leader The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a level 3 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or willing to work towards
  • Have managed services for adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs previously.
  • Have strong people and communication skills.
  • Be engaging and able to build and maintain relationships.
  • Have a minimum of 1 years supervisory experience in the social care sector.
