Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a QA Supervisor to join us and lead technical colleagues inverifying that all materials and products are safe and conform to all relevant specification, legislation and customer requirements.This will include:

  • Management of the QA team to ensure cover across all shifts as required
  • Completion ofaudits and KPIs, monitoringthe consistency of outputs across the team for compliance purposes
  • Training the team to ensure that new process and procedures are adopted
  • Building production team capability to improve communication and understanding of technical standards
  • Investigating customer complaints or any non-conformance raised internal or externally to provide data which informs resolution
  • Ensuring that a safe working environment exists for all colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set out in the SHE policy

  • Previous experience of working within Food Manufacturing is essential, so well be looking for you to bring with you prior experience of working within a similar role
  • Accreditationsin food safety at level 3 and Health and safety level 2 would be extremely beneficial
  • An understanding of internal audit processes, technical KPIs and non-conformance techniques
  • Basic allergen awareness and legal labelling practice
  • Problem solving capabilitieswith a strong attention to detail
