Job Description

One of the UKs leading brand in the home retail industry, is seeking an experienced and motivated procurement/purchasing manager to take a new role at their Wisbech head office. The ideal candidate will have extensive purchasing experience, ideally withexposure to components and raw. CIPS or related procurement qualifications would be great, but not essential.As this is a standalone role you will be working at both from reporting and administrative level right through to strategic procurement plans. And as such a real self-starter, happy getting stuck in, with great organisational and planning skills would suitthe role best.Day to day duties would include:

  • Translating client orders into inventory needs,
  • Supplier management and performance reviews
  • Price analysis and benchmarking
  • Supply chain management
  • Contract and tender negotiations
  • Stock management, analysis and investigation
  • Procurement policy and process
