Job Description

Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerLocation: Wisbech, CambridgeshireSalary: £42,000 - £45,000 + OvertimeImmediate StartInteraction Recruitment have teamed up with a rapidly growing UK company. Due to the ongoing expansion, there is a need for a maintenance engineer to join the maintenance team. If you are looking for the opportunity with a great company with even greaterbenefits, this is the role for you!The Role:

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum
  • Work with a range of mechanical systems (Automation, hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
  • Monitor and adjust equipment and process conditions to ensure ‘right first time’
  • Carry out installations and commissioning of new equipment
  • Follow health and safety precautions to ensure a safer working space
  • General fabrication
  • Working with mechanical drive systems
What we need from you:
  • Must be apprentice trained or hold time spent experience (mechanical/electrical – City & Guilds/ NVQ Level 3)
  • 18th edition – Desirable but not essential
  • Have a strong understanding of automation, hydraulics and pneumatics systems
  • Have the ability to work from technical drawings
  • The ability to work as a team and own initiative
