We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Technology faculty, and we havea new role available as a Brickwork/Groundwork Lecturer. In recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength, and we are now at the forefront of vocational education. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tightknit and supportive teams.You will need a Level 3 Construction qualification or equivalent and up-to-date experience in education/training or proven industry experience. You must hold a relevant teaching qualification or be committed to obtaining one at level 5 (e.g Diploma in Education/DTLLS/CertEd/PGCE) within the first 3 years of employment. You must hold a Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain within 18 months of employment.The work we do in Construction is essential in supporting local businesses. We work with a huge range of companies to make sure our qualifications and curriculum offer meet the industrys needs. We cover brickwork, groundworks, carpentry, plumbing, paintingand decorating and technical/professional construction and we have a first-class track record of working with employers on successful apprenticeship programmes.We have great facilities on site but are always looking to make improvements to ensure our staff and students have the best possible learning environments.
