Job Description

Reed are recruiting a Team Leader on behalf of an Award-winning registered charity that helps homeless people in Fenland, Cambridgeshire, leading a team supporting people leaving the criminal justice system.Salary: £26,000-£28,000,Shift pattern: 0800:2000// 4 on, 4 off// average of 40.25hrs per weekResponsibilities:

  • Manage, train and develop a team of people, upskilling them in Trauma Informed Care
  • Manage a caseload ofclients, ensuringtheir needs are met and care plans are constantly reviewed
  • Ensure all clients have open housing benefit applications
  • Provide support and access to external support services
  • Health and Safety Accountability
Essential Criteria
  • At least one qualification in either drugs and alcohol, mental health, or learning disabilities (or high levels of experience in these fields) and have evidence of how you have put this into practice
  • To have knowledge in the Criminal Justice System/ supporting individuals with substance abuse issues
  • Experience of working with individuals and groups to motivate and change offending behaviour
  • Experience of working with people who have committed offences.
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of people who have experienced a range of social/personal difficulties
