Senior Production Scientist WirralUp to £25,000 per annumMy client, a leading diagnostics company, are looking for a Senior Production Scientist to join their growing company that offers both custom IVD development & manufacturing services and molecular diagnostic products.As part of the team, you will be involved in the manufacture of in vitro diagnostic kits, including PCR, next generation sequencing and immunoassays to high quality GMP standards. You will be responsible for the control of raw materials, liquid dispensing, operation of the freeze driers and completion of finished kits to ISO13485 and FDA standards.Job responsibilities of the Senior Production Scientist:- Operation of liquid dispensers, freeze driers and general laboratory and packaging equipment.- Completion and maintenance of manufacturing records to ensure compliance with Regulatory bodies.- Responsibility for ensuring traceability of all products from raw materials to finished product.- Acceptance of raw materials and ensuring that they meet Goods Inward Specifications.- Assist in the transfer to production of clients IVD product lines and the generation and design of new production documentation.The successful candidate for the Senior Production Scientist post will have:* A BSc or equivalent in Life Sciences.* Previous industrial working experience under ISO13485 or FDA QSR.* Previous experience in PCR, immunoassays or LAMP assaysIf this sounds like you and you would like to join a growing diagnostics company then please apply now!Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
