Job Description

Sales Account ExecutiveSalary £23k - £27KWexham (Hybrid)Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.00pm (Flexible working available)Working for the global market leader in the DIY arts and crafts marketplace, with the company designing, manufacturing, and distributing the finest quality die-cutting machines and products to the creative industry.Position Summary:Working alongside the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure the implementation of the sales and marketing strategy within UK, European and ROW regions. It includes the management of high valued sales accounts and strategically developing sales/marketing campaignsto support the development of these accounts and business strategy.Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts
  • Working towards channel sales targets and set KPIs
  • Generating new business through current channels and exploring new opportunities
  • Managing a pipeline of new business and reporting against progress
  • Maximising revenue by exploring all sales opportunities with a focus on growth
  • Processing sales orders and credits
  • Recording and maintaining customer information
  • Reporting upon channel progress weekly/ monthly
  • Using data and internal reports to put forward proactive suggestions for account growth
  • Implementing annual strategies with customers and coordinating key tasks to delivery dates required
  • Using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to proactively contact customers
  • Working closely with other internal departments to ensure we are fulfilling customer requirements
  • Playing a key role as part of a small team
  • Understanding/ Researching channel trends, utilising internal reports and external sources
  • Occasional travel to trade and consumers shows and customer offices nationally or internationally
  • Have a full understanding of the overall sales department processes and be cross trained on all channels to support when needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Direct 2+ years of experience working with and managing accounts
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Have the desire to grow the role and deliver exceptional service
  • Ability to work as a part of a small team and across departments
  • Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Candidate must be fluent with written and spoken English
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems would be beneficial
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong telephone skills
  • Must be organised and have excellent time management skills
  • Must be able to engage with business professionals at all levels
  • Must be highly motivated to achieve goals set
  • Must be articulate, friendly and outgoing in order to convey a variety of ideas and concepts
  • Ability to work to a very high standard whilst under pressure
  • Able to travel to customers, shows, events when required
