Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an independent Retail travel agent as a senior Travel Consultant, based on the Wirral. You will be selling holidays to all over the world, Face to face in a retail travel shop and lovely upmarket town. Salary is between£24,000-£28,000 basic, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be target driven, and have sold travel products previously.As a Senior Retail Travel consultant you will:

  • Sell holidays face to face and over the phone ranging from short breaks to Mediterranean to cruising holidays and worldwide
  • Up sell additional extras and suggest those that complement the customers package
  • Switch selling of sold out destinations or holidays
  • Tailor make packages to the clients needs
Senior Retail Travel consultant Skills required:
  • Travel sales experience working for a Travel company
  • Determination to succeed
  • Excellent telephone manner with excellent customer service
  • Ability and experience of dealing with a variety of customers
