Job Description

As Engineering Product Manager you will have a key input on product development with a view to maximise what the business will take to the marketplace by delivering new products in line with business needs. You will aim to minimise risk associated with businesssales via ownership and management of a QC system, ensuring maximised revenue for the business.Client DetailsThe business are an independent water treatment equipment manufacturer based in Wirral who have seen growth from £6 million turnover to £13 million with an aim to reach £30 million by 2030.Supplying water treatment equipment into industrial, food and beverages settings, with a manufacturing site based in Wirral.The business currently has 125 heads and is looking to expand this after exceptional growth over the past few years.DescriptionAs Engineering Product Manager you will be expected to have an extensive input on and to deliver the engineering product development plan within the business.You will also adopt the following responsibilities;

  • Deliver on New Product Development from Design through to Market ensuring that each product is fit for purpose within the market
  • Communicate efficiently with the Engineering Team to gain feedback and assist in solutions to support customer needs to resolve customer pain points
  • Assist with internal and external product support, including site visits where required
  • Attend trade shows and supplier meetings to provide feedback on market research and competitor analysis
  • Report on product performance such as; Sales, profitability, market adoption
  • Assist with activities in the Production Workshop where required
ProfileThe successful Engineering Product Manager will have experience of New Product Development within Water Treatment manufacturing settings.
