Job Description

Job Title: Multi Skilled Manual MachinistSalary: £15.00 per hour (£28,860 per annum)Location: Wirral, Merseyside Sector / Industry: Manufacturing/EngineeringJob Reference:DBMANUALMAC-GHDo you have experience as a manual machinistAre you able to read and interpret technical drawingsAre you able to work to tight deadlinesIf yes to the aboveI have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join a well established business in the Wirral!Package Details:

  • Salary - £28,860 per annum
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Early finish on a Friday
  • Pension scheme
  • Monday to Thursday 08:0016:30 / Friday 08:0013:00
Key Responsibilities:
  • Able to work on both centre lathe and convential mills.
  • Working on a wide range of projects for customers in a variety of industries.
  • Working with different materials from stainless steel to plastic and aluminum.
  • Highlighting and communicating any issues that may arise.
  • Ensuring all health, safety and quality standards are complied with.
Experience Required:
  • Strong background as a manual machinist gained within a commercial engineering workshop.
  • Ability
  • Ability to screw cut internal and external threads and turn and mill where necessary
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic, hands on team
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
