Job Description

LVI Legal AdvisorREED Legal are working with one of the UKs leading providers of insurance and legal services who have built a reputation for an ethical approach to personal injury litigation. Their workforce delivers a professional but personable service to their clients,and they have fostered a culture built on this ethos which makes for an enjoyable place to work.Dealing with all aspects of litigated and nonlitigated personal injury claims involving allegations of Fraud and/or Low Velocity Impact (LVI). Plus dealing with any personal injury claims involving Road Traffic Accidents or any files of a technical naturewhich you may from time to time be asked to advise on, handle or progressResponsibilities:

  • Progressing claims in a timely manner in accordance with the CPR
  • Prioritising urgent schedule entries and dealing with remainder of daily tasks on To Do list
  • Instructing Counsel, to attend conferences, hearings, and CMCs
  • Ensuring clients are kept informed and up to date on a regular basis throughout the life of the claim
  • Speaking to and updating referrers as often as possible to ensure a consistency of service and to ensure referrers loyalty to the Firm
  • Ensuring that any BTE and/or ATE insurer is kept updated and fully informed as to the progress of any claims
Experience:
  • Have relevant experience of having handled claims involving allegations of Fraud/LVI
  • To have a good working knowledge relevant case law and/or legislation
  • An ability to work in an organised manner
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
Salary: £29,000 - £35,000Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 9am5.30pm Friday 9am5pm37 hoursBenefits:
