Job Description

Learning Mentor - Psychology GraduateHave you recently graduated from university or are working towards a 2:1 or better in PsychologyAre you looking for a teaching assistant role with the potential to progress to teacher training, social work or educational psychologyThis superb two-form entry primary school on the Wirral needs a recent Psychology Graduate to work alongside class teachers providing support to students throughout the school day.

An extensive knowledge of emotional, social and behavioural difficulties, learnt through studying a degree in Psychology is desired in this role, as is experience working with challenging young people. However, if you relish the opportunity of working andmaking a difference in this field despite lacking relevant experience, then this role could still be suited to you. You will have the opportunity to lead booster and intervention groups, mentor pupils 1:1 and work in classes across the school.
