Job Title:Laser OperatorLocation: WirralJob Type: Full-time permanentSalary: £13.00 per hour / x1.5 overtimeHours: 08:00-16:30 Monday to FridayJob Summary:You will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to precisely cut various materials according to specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience in laser cutting operations, be detail-oriented, and have a strong technicalaptitude.Responsibilities:· Set up and operate Mazak laser cutting machines.· Review job orders and specifications to determine the cutting requirements.· Load and unload materials onto the laser cutting machine.· Adjust machine settings, such as laser power and cutting speed, to achieve optimal results.· Monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality of the finished products.· Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of laser cutting machines to ensure their efficient operation.· Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the cutting process.· Maintain proper documentation of production activities and job orders.· Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Requirements:· Previous experience as a Laser Operator or in a similar role.· Proficient in operating Mazak laser cutting machines preferred, but open to experience on any other machine.· Ability to read technical drawings, and specifications.· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.· FLT counterbalance licence.Benefits:· Competitive salary and benefits package.· X1.5 overtime.· Pension· 28 days annual leave· Positive and supportive work environment.To apply please contactDaniel BarnettAt Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and collaboration.
