Job Description

HR Admin Assistant at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS TrustNHS Professionals manages the temporary work placement (bank) at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and we are looking for a HR Admin AssistantWirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is the thriving heart of the local community. Comprising Wirrals only Emergency Department, it is one of the biggest and busiest acute NHS trusts in the North West. Providing a comprehensive rangeof high-quality acute care services, serving a population of about 400,000 people across Wirral, Ellesmere Port, Neston, North Wales and the wider North West footprint. Based in 4 locations Arrowe Park Hospital, Clatterbridge Hospital, and Wirral Women andChildrens Hospital.Title: HR Admin AssistantBand: 2 (£9.21)Location: Elm House, Clatterbridge Hospital, CH63 4JYDuration: Until end DecemberWork Pattern: Monday to Friday 9-5The RoleTo provide administrative support to the team or department, answering general queries on behalf of the team.Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting team with Sickness Absence - including working on sickness dashboards, booking in Long Term Sickness meetings, obtaining sickness updates, etc
  • To ensure that office and clerical duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Dealing with enquiries either by telephone or face to face.
  • To comply with the Code of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
Duties
  • To respond to telephone enquiries, taking messages and transferring and escalating calls when necessary.
  • Filing correspondence and other documentation.
  • Maintaining the current and archive filing systems, including paper and electronic systems.
  • Photocopying, scanning and collation of documents.
  • Follow office procedures and practices relating to administrative duties.
  • Dealing with enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to stakeholders and referring to others as appropriate.
  • Supporting printing/collation putting together of paperwork for hearing bundles
  • Word processing documents, letters, emails etc to a high standard.
  • Printing reports and daily schedules to support the team.
  • Handling the incoming and outgoing post.
  • Book any appointments or meetings as required.
  • Liaise with team leader to ensure effective and efficient administrative support.
  • Liaise with colleagues as appropriate
  • Ensure at all times data is secure and confidentiality is maintained.
  • Any other ad hoc administration duties as and when required
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English or NVQ level 2 in Admin
  • Previous experience in admin role
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Organisational skills
