Job Description

Are you looking for a Full time, Permanent jobAre you an experienced Production Line Team Leader in manufacturingDue to a continuous increase in Business, Staffline are recruiting a Production Team Line Leader, to join our Manufacturing CustomerWe would be very keen to speak with candidates who have experience as a Production Line Team Leader from the Pharma, Food or Chemical industryIn your new role as a production Line Team Leader:

  • You will be responsible for Managing production teams and agency staff to ensure the production schedules and targets are met or improved upon.
  • Liaise with other departments regarding Production Schedule and ensure line changeovers are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with the Quality, Engineering, Blending and Warehouse departments to ensure continuous efficient production.
  • Ensure compliance, ISO, GMP, SOPS and Health & Safety regulations are met and adhered to
  • Perform regular training of all Production Operatives, new, permanent and agency, in line with the Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
  • Review the performance of the Production Operative functions through the PDR system.
  • Manage and organise Rotas, overtime and manning to ensure enough manpower so production targets are met efficiently
  • To construct regular reports detailing production performance statistics, downtime, maintenance, and quality issues, and take appropriate action
  • Take appropriate disciplinary action as and when required
  • Conduct staff performance reviews, to ascertain if additional training, support required
To be considered for your new role as Production Line Leader:
  • You will need prior experience as a Production Line Team Leader, training will be given on the specific site processs
  • Experience within Pharma, Food or Chemical industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills, improvement recommendations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills to ensure production targets are met
  • Experience working with agency staff
  • Experience training new starters
  • IT Skills
  • The ability to report accurately and precisely
  • GMP knowledge and experience essential
Standard hours of work, between the hours of 12noon and 10pm, Mon-ThursdayEarly finish on Friday£10.20 per hr
