Job Description

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Food Technology Technician to work at one of our client schools based on the Wirral. This is a full time, long-term position starting in September with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Thisposition pays an hourly rate between £11.50 & £12.33 per hour.Our secondary school are looking for a Food Technology Technician to support in the preparation for practical examinations, ensuring equipment is kept in good order and to support the Food Technology teacher where required.The role:

  • Food Technician
  • September position
  • Full time position (36 hours per week 8.15-4.30pm)
  • Opportunity for temporary to permanent
  • Pay between £11.50 & £12.33 per hour

  • 11-18

The essentials:
  • Food Hygiene certificate
  • Experience working within a secondary school is desirable
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10 year career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
