Adele Carr is delighted to be working exclusively with a prestigious organisation on the Wirral who are keen to appoint a technical Financial Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.With an excellent reputation within the community, this not-for-profit business is seeking a highly competent accountant to support the senior management team with real time information.The successful new appointment will be responsible for providing technical accounting support. You will be fully qualified; ACA / CIMA / ACCA and preferably practice trained with impressive hands on experience managing control accounts.You will hold significant autonomy in the role and therefore need to be self-motivated and capable in managing your time efficiently.To be effective in this role you will have oversight of the financial accounting processes and controls and take ownership of the following;* Accounting and reporting on UK operations* Produce month end / year end reporting* Balance sheet accounts * Lead internal / external audit, statutory accounts, tax compliance * Management of Fixed Asset Register* Inter-company* Capital expenditure* Engage with various heads of department to ensure effective controls are in place* Partner with senior management team to review and promote continuous improvement and contribute to financial projectsThe company is extremely proud of its reputation and promote a positive, well-being environment.They are an Investor in People and everyone is encouraged to train and re-train.
