Job Description

Finance Business Partner / Wirral / Salary £60,000 - £65,000 Full time, permanent, office-based role.We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Business Partner to join our renowned clients growing commercial finance team. With a fantastic reputation within their sector, our client has continued to invest in the business, and they have ambitiousgrowth plans to continue to thrive!You will be responsible for:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) - you will collaborate with various departments to develop and monitor the annual budget.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis to provide insights into performance.
  • Cost management - you will analyse production costs, including raw materials, labour, and overhead expenses.
  • Commercially focused, you will work closely with non-financial stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Budget control - you will monitor financial performance against budget and provide insights into variances.
  • Weekly Cash Flow Reporting of various Projects
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • You will assist business leaders by providing financial advice and guidance based on data-driven analysis.
  • Support with on-going system and reporting improvements.
Key Skills:
  • Ideally you will be Fully Qualified or working towards a professional accountancy qualification or professional development will be considered.
  • Proven experience working as a Finance Business Partner or a similar strategic commercial finance role.
  • Exposure to large contract and long term contract accounting projects is desirable but not essential
  • Able to challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings
  • Hands on, with strong financial analysis and data manipulation skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth and dynamic manufacturing environment.
