Job Description

Dynamic English Teacher Wanted for an Ofsted rated Good Secondary SchoolAttention English Enthusiasts! We are on the hunt for an exceptional English Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators. The successful candidate will bring their passion for the English language to life in the classroom, inspiring our students to reachnew heights.Located in the heart of The Wirral, our school is a vibrant and inclusive learning community. As a full-time English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our students, helping them to discover the joy of reading, writing,and language.Responsibilities:

  • Delivering dynamic and engaging English lessons that bring the subject to life for our students
  • Assessing and tracking students progress, setting goals, and helping them to achieve their full potential
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a rich and varied curriculum that excites and challenges our students
  • Encouraging students to participate in discussions, projects, and other learning activities that foster their love of English
  • Celebrating students successes and helping them to overcome any challenges they may face
Requirements:
  • A bachelors degree in English or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students
  • A passion for the subject that shines through in the classroom
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
