Job Description

Attention all Design and Technology Teachers!Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of our Wirral-based client secondary school who are seeking a passionate teacher to join their team immediately until the Easter holidays. If you have a flair for creating engaging and innovative lessons, and a strong trackrecord of success in Design and Technology, we want to hear from you!The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Delivering inspiring and engaging Design and Technology lessons to students of all abilities
  • Incorporating technology and digital resources into lessons to enhance student learning
  • Fostering a love for Design and Technology among students and encouraging their creativity
  • Assessing and evaluating student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure their success
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest pedagogical approaches and incorporating them into your lessons
To join us and be considered for this Design and Technology Teacher position on the Wirral you must:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide satisfactory references
  • Either hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
