Job Description

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young adults with special educational needs Are you dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!A nurturing, purpose - built CLD school in Wirral are looking for dedicated and friendly CLD Teaching assistant to join their team and help create happy, healthy, safe, independent young adults to become social communicators.As a CLD Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with various learning challenges.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Create a safe and nurturing atmosphere where every student feels valued.
  • Collaborate with the schools multidisciplinary team to develop tailored learning strategies.
  • Offer emotional support and building strong rapport with students.
  • Contribute to the overall positive school culture of inclusion and acceptance.
As a CLD Teaching Assistant, you will have:
  • A genuine passion for working with children and young adults with special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to various learning styles.
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in special education (desirable).
