Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Admin & Operations Assistant to join our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil & Simple based at Port Sunlight, Wirral, Merseyside. This is a full-time temporary role to run until July 2024 working a 37.5 hour week, to start ASAP. This role is paying between £26,956 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. *Due to the urgent nature of this role, we cannot accept any applications that have a longer notice period of 1 month!Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W) is a key Business Group for our client and has a very ambitious growth and sustainability agenda. Beauty & Wellbeing brings together Hair Care, Skin Care, Prestige and Health & Wellness with brands including Dove, TRESemmé, Vaseline,Sunsilk and Ponds.Consumer Technical Insight & Claims (CTIC) is an integral part of opening these market opportunities in R&D, sitting at the interface between product design and marketing.This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organised and passionate about working with a dedicated team of scientists, who develop new products and services to better meet consumer beauty and hair needs.If you enjoy teamwork, enjoying working with a truly global and driven team and have the ability to develop and deliver excellent operational efficiencies - this is a role for you.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / TASKS

  • Providing administrative support for the Consumer Technical Insights team
  • Own processes, develop more efficient ways of working to streamline processes
  • Updating internal operation procedures documents
  • Coordinating with the Director, to schedule team meetings and to provide follow-ups
  • Devising and maintaining systems to ensure efficient management of data within the team
  • Updating and maintaining databases
  • Managing and resolving operational issues
  • Driving efficiencies in terms of ways of working within the team
KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Previous experience in an administrative or operational role
  • Experience supporting multiple people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team working
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in dealing with data and producing simple reports
  • Fully operational in MS Office
