You will be responsible for managing a team of Transport Supervisors and drivers, driving their development and the continuous improvement of the Transport operation, delivering great service at optimal cost.About the Role:Reporting in to your Transport Operations Manager you will ensure the Transport Supervisors work effectively and in a timely manner to despatch and conduct effective driver debriefs. Our Transport Shift Manager role comes with a lot of responsibility as you will manage a Transport operation despatching 100,000 of Parcels per shift through our primary network in peak periods and up to c800 B2C collections weeklyYou will support the Transport Operations Manager to develop a peak plan in line with forecasted volumes and or changes in automation to meet financial and resourcing needs and promote a culture of accountability and drive consistency to ensure the delivery of excellent operational standardsYou must be able to lead by example in creating a high-performance people orientated culture/ employee engagement/ Carrying out regular individual 121’s, performance reviews and team meetings with teamExperience/Qualifications:
