Job Description

The words catering assistant and social life dont often go together. Well, not this time. With this job you will not work evenings, you will only work 5 days a week, and you will not be under heavy pressure and stress.You will join an established kitchen team at Arbury Court in Warrington. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will support the chefs to prepare meals, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and assist with deliveries.Its a calm and pleasurable working environment, where youll be able to manage your workload and develop your career.   • Prepare vegetables, salad and sandwiches to a consistently high standard.
  • Serve service users, staff and visitors with food and beverages in a professional and customer-friendly manner.
  • Maintaining good food storage procedures and stock rotation.
  • To ensure that all areas, equipment and furniture within the catering department and dining areas are cleaned and stored correctly
  • To ensure that all catering waste is disposed of following the correct procedures.
  • To be responsible for the departments cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring safe storage, stock rotation and use following instructions and established procedures.
    • To be successful in this role, youll need
  • The ability and knowledge of cleaning catering equipment correctly
  • To be able to use a dishwasher
  • Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP
  • Experience of working within a Customer Service environment
    • Where you will be workingLocation: Arbury Court, Townfield Lane, Winwick, Warrington, Cheshire, WA2 8TRJoin the multidisciplinary team at Arbury Court and provide care and treatment for adult women in medium, and low secure, and psychiatric intensive care PICU) environments, who have Personality Disorder and Mental Health conditions.Rehabilitation and recovery at Arbury Court focuses on care being person-centred as opposed to disease-centred.The service is located just off the M62 jnc 9 in Winwick, which benefits from good transport links, making it easy to commute to from most local areas between Liverpool and Manchester.What you will get
