Job Description

Full time, 6 months fixed term contractPackage: Competitive basic salaryWorking: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per weekLocation: Primarily home based with travel to the Head Office in Winnersh (RG41) 1-2 days per month (initial training will be completed in the office 1-2 days per week)Responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership of month end USGAAP flux analysis covering P&L and Balance sheet, establishing and developing month end reporting process
  • Help facilitate the roll out of SAC (SAP analytical cloud)
  • Challenge Actual, budget, forecasts variances, developing an understanding of the drivers behind performance across Europe
  • Create, develop and produce consolidated management reporting packs, with KPI analysis and commentary
  • Build strong working relationships with the finance teams across Europe
  • Assist with integration of acquisitions, particularly in terms of aligning reporting
  • Support the Head of FP&A with M&A activity
  • Support the Group function on other projects
The ideal candidate:Required
  • Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA professional
  • Working knowledge of UKGAAP, USGAAP and IFRS differences
  • Experience in reporting writing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good with technology, ability to learn new systems
  • Team player
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced, changing environment
Preferable
  • Experience of consolidations
  • Experience of internal controls reporting and SOX
  • US GAAP knowledge
  • Use of SAP BPC or similar reporting system
