Head of Physiotherapy1 year’s Maternity contract from JanuarySalary up to £51,000Wimbledon AreaOur client is seeking a Head of Physiotherapyreporting into the Head of Rehabilitation.Duties:Provide maintain and review a comprehensive client-focused, highly specialist Rehabilitation service for patients from 16 years old and above. This service will involvecarers, families and service providers.Provide clinical leadershipin the area ofPhysiotherapy and neurological rehabilitation, covering a range of neurological disorders.Act in a consultancy role, for all clinical staff, in addressing complex patient issues in neurological rehabilitation.To determine clinical diagnosis and treatmentindicated andmaintain records as an autonomous practitioner. To undertake a significant clinical caseload to a high professional standard using specialist knowledge from theoretical and practicalexperience.Provide clinical supervision to junior staff and RehabilitationAssistants.Work in a collaborative manner with existing services and new service developmentsin order tocontribute to the ongoing development of the Serviceand to lead on service developments and initiatives in the area ofneurology.Carry a specialist caseload and work with team members to assess, plan and implement appropriate rehabilitationprogrammes.
