ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Peripatetic General Manager at Barchester, youll travel across your division to help us deliver the high standards were known for. Well look to you to support care homes that have been identified as having concerns in improving their services or providingsupport where there is a General Manager vacancy. Youll be working alongside Care Home General Managers and Care Home Deputy General Managers to develop and implement action plans that make sure residents needs are met.As part of your wide range of responsibilities, you can expect to help investigate formal complaints, collaborate with external healthcare professionals to resolve concerns and promote policies within our care homes. Youll also be committed to getting ourteams to the very best clinical standards through learning and development programmes. In the role of Peripatetic General Manager, youll make a real difference to residents lives across your divisionand be truly valued and respected for what you do.ABOUT YOUYoull need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration to join us as Peripatetic General Manager. Experience in supporting care homes through complex concerns and complaints is important, as is your understanding of the independent socialand healthcare sector.Self-motivated, innovative and compassionate, youll be able to build strong professional relationships in every care home you support as well as with external health professionals. Youll also need to have a full driving licence to be able to travel acrossthe division.
