Maintenance Assistant£25,000 + discretionary bonus at Xmas up to 3KWimbledonFull time permanentHours 7-4 or 9-6 Mon-FriThis is a great opportunity for a person with hands-on and practical experience.The Maintenance Assistant will work as part of a team of 4. No prior knowledge/experience is necessary, but it would be helpful, especially lighting / studio experience.The main duties for the Maintenance Assistant are: - assisting in the preparation of our 4 studios for photography/video shoots- delivering/collecting lighting equipment from our stores on-site- ensuring the studios and lighting stores are clean and tidy- ad hoc tasks around the studio- regular studio painting- maintaining and servicing equipment- Some heavy lifting and shiftingThe Maintenance Assistant should be practical, have good attention to detail, be friendly and approachable, have a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn and develop. Ideally, they would live locally.The shift is 9 hours a day, plus paid overtime (evenings and weekends - rarely worked, they should be prepared to work long hours when its busy)Overtime is variable & payable:Weekdays: x1.25 for the first 2 hours, then x1.5 hoursWeekends: x1.5 hoursX2 after midnight20 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays and the 3 days between Christmas and NYBreakfast and lunch are often provided.
