Job Description

Learning & Development - sales trainerHQ office is based in South West LondonSalary £35-40k negotiable based on experience Starting as soon as possible About us Harnham is the global leader in data and analytics recruitment which has grown rapidly over the past couple of years. Our business was founded in Wimbledon, where our HQ office remains and weve established offices in New York, San Francisco, Berlin andmost recently Phoenix. Because of our continued growth plans over the next few years, were looking for someone who is enthusiastic and engaging to join our Learning & Development team to train our entry level consultants beginning our 2 year training programme.At Harnham we strive to support our sales teams with the best tools and resources available. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can collaborate with the sales teams, develop and implement training sessions with guidance from our experienced L&D consultantwho has vast experience in recruitment and sales training across multiple industries.We take training seriously as we provide training and development throughout our consultants careers from entry level to Director level. We have an established team of 4 trainers who have all worked within recruitment and sales themselves before movinginto L&D.What will the role involve

  • Programme lead and deliver the consultant development programme to new starters ensuring a high quality and interactive experience
  • Manage and co-ordinate the planning, scheduling and overall communication of the consultant development programme to new starters and their line managers
  • Performance coaching consultants through deskside coaching and observing and giving feedback
  • Meet with team managers regularly to give training feedback and to capture further training requirements
  • Identify learning needs and design content using multiple delivery methods
  • Deliver sales training to consultants with broad levels of experience (up to Principal consultant level)
  • Liaise with team managers and stakeholders to understand areas for improvement or consistency, utilising reports and business data.
  • Regularly evaluate the learning interventions and training programmes delivered and make ongoing changes to ensure relevance and effectiveness
  • Be an active member of the L&D team by working on group projects and programme design
Who are we looking for
  • Proven track record in a similar role within a fast-paced environment OR an experience recruitment consultant who is looking to move into an L&D position and has led on training initiatives
  • Experience in delivering group training sessions both face to face and virtual / webinars
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Presentation skills - comfortable in front of large groups
  • Good knowledge of different training approaches and techniques
  • Ideally familiar with blended learning and use of LMS systems
  • Able to travel when required (occasional basis)
