Graduate Trainee AccountantREED are partnered with a well-established accountancy practice based in Wimbledon, offering a range of services to their clients, including audit, accounting, tax, and advisory. They are looking for a university graduate to join their team and take theirfirst step into accountancy practice in supporting their senior accountants.As a junior accountant, you will be responsible for:- Assisting in audit procedures for a variety of clients, including planning, testing, and reporting (60%)- Preparing and filing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies (30%)- Assisting with tax computations and returns for individuals and businesses (10%)To be successful in this role, you will need:- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (2:2 or above)- AAT qualification or studying towards a professional qualification- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Attention to detail and accuracy- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g. Xero)We offer:- A competitive salary and benefits package- Study support and career progression opportunities- A friendly and supportive work environment- Hybrid working arrangements (flexible hours and remote work options)
