A returning client of ours is looking for a permanent afternoon Nanny to help out their family as of September 2020.We originally helped this family with an emergency Nanny at the beginning of the year, and they have recently come back to us requesting a fun and pro-active Nanny to join their family on a long term & permanent basis. The role will be sole charge of two friendly children, a little girl aged 2 and a little boy aged 4.The youngest is currently attending nursery and the eldest will be going into reception as of September. The family is looking for a Nanny to work Mon-Weds doing the school and nursery pick up at 3/3.15PM, then walk the children home or to the park, create fun and stimulating games and activities for both age groups and giving them their dinner before bath time at 6PMOn a Thursday and Friday the Nanny will be required to pick up the little girl from the nursery at 12PM and then take her to a different nursery for an afternoon session straight after. Once the little girl is dropped off this will give the Nanny time to catch up on washing, folding & ironing the childrens clothes, putting the toys away, and ensuring the childrens rooms are tidy. It would also be ideal if the Nanny could do some batch cooking during this 1-2 free hours. Both nursery and school are within a 10-minute walking distance of the home. The role will be 21 hours per week, and there is a possibility of slightly more hours in the holiday (although the little girl attends an all year round nursery)It is key the Nanny is energetic, kind, and fun as well as being super organised with the different drop-offs and pickups too.A close relative of this family currently has cancer, so is incredibly high risk. So it would be key that the Nanny could drive, walk, or cycle to work due to the current situation. Both parents are also currently working from home due to Covid-19 but this is likely to change in the future.£13-£15 gross per hour dependent on experience.September start!
