Job Description

Nursery Nurse / Nursery Practitioner - based in Wilmslow - September start!If you hold level 2 or 3 in a childcare qualification and looking for a role within a nursery/preschool setting that can offer you training, progression and great working environment, friendly team ad ongoing development - apply today.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • To provide high quality care and early years education at a nursery based in Wilmslow - this is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning nursery with a wealth of experience.
  • Offer a friendly, safe and stimulating environment for all the children
  • Plan and organise activities both inside and outside the nursery - encouraging creativity and learning through play
  • Using appropriate assessment and monitoring tools and following the early years framework.
  • Be a point of contact for parents and work in partnership to encourage partnership
  • Awareness of child protection issues and Safeguarding
  • Assist with personal care and other welfare duties
  • To be enthusiastic, offer new ideas and be an integral part of the business. To undertake training and be open to new skills.
Qualifications and Skills needed for the role of nursery nurse / practitioner
  • Childcare level 2 is essential for this role. Childcare Level 3 in early years is desired or happy to work towards this.
  • Knowledge of EYFS and Safeguarding required.
  • You must be hardworking & committed.
  • Responsible and approachable to other members of staff and parent
  • Good communication skills with the desire to work hard
  • A team player!
