Therefore, we employ and train apprentices as part of our marketing division. We feel that having young people in theSoft Surfaces team brings lots of new ideas to the table and helps us to look at things from a wider perspective.Overview:The marketing staff have taken on several different roles including social media management, content writing, video production and SEO.Are you looking to start your career in digital marketing with one of the leading surfacing companies within the UK Do you want to work with some of the best minds within the digital marketing industry Soft Surfaces are looking for young, keen and team-orientedindividuals to join our amazing marketing team!Successful candidates will work alongside an experienced marketing team, learning how important and vital marketing is to a business at our scale. Youll be given training, support and help along the journey to help you understand and perform well at yournew job!Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Take part in team meetings to discuss new marketing strategies
  • Work with the sales team to understand more about our target customers
  • Become an expert with social media communication channels
  • Learn how important content is for a successful website
  • Able to communicate with the marketing team to update them on campaigns
  • To be able to carry out market research through Google Analytics etc.

Entry requirements:You need to have 5 GCSEs:
  • Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above
  • 3x GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject
You must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level, or higher level than this apprenticeship.If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.Find out more here. https://Qualifications/UKQRS/Default.aspxWorking week:40hrs a week.Important Information:QAs apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
